Assistant Director of Annual Giving

Columbia Theological Seminary’s enrollment is growing, and it is home to a diverse student body. Our students range in age from 20-something to 60-plus. While many are from the southeastern United States, others are drawn from all corners of the world. Degree programs include six masters and doctoral level opportunities. Columbia has a tree-lined 57-acre campus with green-certified buildings, a conference center, and playing fields and gardens that are open to our community neighbors. The campus is just east of the Atlanta Beltline and six miles from downtown Atlanta in Decatur, GA and is across the street from Decatur’s largest park. The City of Decatur is home to more than 200 restaurants, shops, and local attractions, and its historic, vibrant downtown area is on the MARTA rail line.

Our Assistant Director of Annual Giving is essential to the planning, implementation, assessment, and continuous growth and development of Columbia’s annual giving program. The person in this position will play a key role in all aspects of the annual giving program including direct mail campaigns, development of goals and annual giving priorities, staff and faculty annual giving programs, and planning and assisting with virtual and in-person events. This newly created and growth-oriented position reports to the Director of Development.
