Job Details
The Program Assistant provides programmatic, administrative and logistical support to program staff, including data entry, meeting and client services coordination, facilitation of support groups and classes, conducting research for and assembling required reports and proposals, assisting with social media and website content, letter composition, filing, photocopying, scanning, mailing, word processing and other administrative tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with arrangements for support group and parenting training sessions, including the procurement of materials, meeting logistics, set up and tear down.
- Facilitates parenting enrichment classes and support group meetings
- Prepares and assembles training and other program materials.
- Prepares and mails monthly newsletter and prepares and emails weekly resource emails.
- Makes reminder calls to clients regarding program activities
- Performs data entry, creates queries and reports
- Assists with outreach and marketing activities
- Assists with research and the preparation of reports and proposals
- Assists with social media and website content
- Provides administrative and logistical support for golf tournament fundraiser
- Provides general administrative support as needed by the organization
- Other duties as assigned
PREFFERED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational ability
- Experience with Salesforce for Nonprofits or other databases/CRMs a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university AND at least one (1) year of related work experience.
BENEFITS
Paid time off accrues each pay period (3 weeks per year). Monthly $330 cash stipend in lieu of health insurance.

We are the largest provider of comprehensive support services for kinship families in the Atlanta Metro Area and the only agency with special expertise with families that include children with special needs ( including learning/behavioral difficulties, developmental disabilities and chronic medical conditions).
