POSITION: Senior Case Manager I, Community Services North

SALARY: $22.76 per hour ($47,341 annualized) with excellent benefits.

REPORTS TO: Program Director II, Community Services Program – North

The position is with the Community Services North Program, which provides various services including: representative payee services, income advocacy, money management, case management, and housing referrals. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience providing direct services to adults with mental health, substance use, and complex medical conditions. Must demonstrate case management skills and knowledge of public benefit entitlements, redeterminations, and appeals processes. Effective advocacy, organization, and communication skills (including de-escalation and conflict resolution) needed. Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships within all organizational levels and with outside agencies. Ability to work as a team member towards common goals and objectives. Experience with Panoramic software preferred. Proficient in MS office.

DUTIES:

- Perform all duties as described in the Case Manager job description, including maintaining a full client caseload, and performing regular case management and Officer of the Day duties.

- Work in collaboration with Program Director in the implementation of agency policies and procedures.

- In Program Director’s absence, review and approve client disbursement requests and monitor client disbursements.

- Monitor and/or order office supplies and vendor services including janitorial, pest control, water delivery, shredding service, and other such services as needed.

- Monitor staff absences and leave requests to assist Program Director with scheduling.

- Pick-up mail from the Post Office and distribute as scheduled.

- Assist Program Director in training staff in case management duties including progress notes, money management, Social Security representative payee paperwork and other related paperwork from contracting agencies.

- Supervise program operations including staff and perform Program Director duties on his/her absence.

- In Program Director’s absence, collect program reports, review for accuracy, and submit to Associate Director monthly.

- Assist Program Director in preparing statistical reports, data collection, and data entry.

- Conduct staff meetings as needed, and ensure that Case Managers are informed of issues/status of clients and program changes.

- Attend meetings internal and external as requested by the Program Director.

- Reconcile Petty Cash and other activities funds as assigned by Program Director.

- Provide coverage, if necessary, at other CS sites as requested.
