Job Details
The National Women’s Law Center seeks a Research Fellow to work on qualitative and quantitative research focusing on the Center’s program areas: reproductive rights and health, workplace justice, education, income security, and child care. The Research Fellow should have experience conducting research in one or more of these areas, or a related issue, such as gender or racial justice, and be able to quickly assess existing research gaps and develop new projects with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
The Organization
The National Women’s Law Center fights for gender justice—in the courts, in public policy, and in our society—working across the issues that are central to the lives of women and girls.
We use the law in all its forms to change culture and drive solutions to the gender inequity that shapes our society and to break down the barriers that harm all of us—especially women of color, LGBTQ people, and low-income women and families.
For almost 50 years, we have been on the leading edge of every major legal and policy victory for women. Find out more at NWLC.org.

A candidate must possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, statistics, or related field;

- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex research findings clearly and effectively.
- Experience analyzing Census, Bureau of Labor Statistics, or other government datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel and SPSS, STATA, or related statistical software.
