We are in search of a highly organized, creative problem solver, and welcoming individual to join our educational team at Temple Kol Emeth to support the administrative duties of our school to help us achieve our overall mission of inspiring students and families.

The position is part-time (20 hours), non-exempt, which provides administrative support to the operations of our religious school and reports to the Director of Education and Youth Engagement.

The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have the ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. 

-Must be able to work on-site during our school hours during the school year (Sundays: 9 am-2 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons) and other workdays as set with the Director of Education

-Must be willing to work some evenings and Jewish holidays/events.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and coordinate active calendars, calendaring for the school year and events
  • Schedule and confirm meetings
  • Event management, marketing, communications (emails, social media), filing, and school supply organization.
  • Provide ad hoc support around the office as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of office experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database management
