Position Purpose: The purpose of the Trauma Psychotherapist is to provide group & individual psychotherapy to adult female clients to guide them through the three phases of trauma recovery in the Mothers Advocacy Project (MAP) program.
Requirements: Licensed Therapist with at least 5 years of experience working with clients with trauma disorders. Flexible schedule. Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented.
Key Specific Responsibilities:
- Provides on-site group & individual therapy for cohorts of 5-8 clients, in a 28-week program.
- Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
- Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
- Works together with Clinical Team to create care plan for each client.
Staff Team Requirements:
- Attends monthly staff meeting.
- Attends weekly clinical staff meeting
- Participates in weekly 1-on-1 with CD.
- Completes Staff Self-Appraisals a min of 1x per calendar year.
- Attends all necessary trauma training.
- Attends all necessary developmental trainings for the position.
