Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider.   Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) operates 10 health centers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Nationwide, Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 600 health centers, providing medical services and sexuality education for millions of individuals (adults and teens) each year. We also work with allies worldwide to ensure that all people have the right and the means to meet their sexual and reproductive health care needs.

If you are passionate about reproductive health and the opportunity to contribute in a mission-drive environment, consider joining PPSP as Clinical Research Operations Manager.  This is a benefits-eligible, full-time, 35 hour/week position responsible to oversee the day-to-day operations of all clinical research activities and to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory policies and alignment with the goals of the research program, the health centers, and the affiliate overall.  This position leads clinical research coordinators to implement and oversee studies and to achieve the program’s strategic and tactical goals and serves as liaison to sponsors on all operational matters.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience.  CCRP preferred as well as Master’s degree in related subject; combination of professional experience and skills may be considered in lieu of formal/traditional education.  Candidate must possess demonstrated success in training, coordinating and overseeing work teams, formal supervisory experience strongly preferred; advanced computer skills; be a self-motivated achiever able to work both independently and collaboratively; proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, in writing and orally; superior organization skills and strong technical abilities, including EDC and IRB submission; clinical research study protocol, contract, and budget review; and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.
