The Role :

The candidate will take a leading role as Dharma Project’s Operations Manager. This position reports to the Executive Director and will lead efforts in overseeing the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be responsible for developing, refining and maintaining diverse business operations that promote the organization's culture and vision.The Operations Manager will oversee many aspects of marketing and communications, as well as certain logistics relating to fundraising and donor management. From time-to-time, the Operations Manager may be required to complete other duties as assigned. 

The goal of the Operations Manager position is to secure the functionality of our business operations to support our programs and organizational growth.The ideal candidate will guide Dharma Project through a period of growth as a passionate and nurturing leader with strong communication and management skills.

 Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years professional working experience.

  • Administrative experience including operations, marketing, communications, and/or 

  • human resources.

Professional Characteristics:

  • Adept at developing and refining systems to promote effective and efficient organization, tracking and communication.

  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks, a wide range of responsibilities and shifting priorities at once. 

  • Demonstrates strong abilities in problem solving, prioritizing, and delegation. 

  • Comfortable leading marketing outreach and communications efforts.

  • Experience developing organization materials for a variety of functions.

  • Comfortable working with numbers and managing a budget

  • Experience tracking revenue/donations through sales and/or fundraising campaigns

  • Experience in establishing processes and policies.

  • Demonstrated ability of paying strong attention to detail.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Ability to work in a flexible / entrepreneurial working environment.

  • Highly organized, reliable and efficient.
