We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Writer to serve as a key member of the overall Development/Campaign team, and lead the Grant Writer and written efforts in support of gifts from foundations, federal, state and corporate grants to the Milne Institute for Healthcare Innovation (including the Center for Research and Center for Applied Technology) and other areas of the Hospital, as requested. Qualifications include:

*Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, with a concentration in English, Journalism or Writing strongly preferred

*Minimum of 5-7 years of professional writing experience in producing original scientific content that is factual, compelling and persuasive essential

*Experience with non-profit proposal or health care and/or science writing and experience writing proposals for an academic medical center strongly desired

* 2-3 redacted writing samples (i.e., donor proposal, letter or stewardship pieces, etc.) are required and must be uploaded with your application in order to be considered for the position
