Lanier Education Coordinator

The Lanier Education Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for fulfilling the education programming needs of the organization.  This employee is responsible for creating and overseeing educational programs through a variety of platforms such as the Sidney Salons, Rose Hill Cemetery, summer camps for kids, Neighborhood Leadership Institute, and researching and sharing under represented stories.  Additional duties include planning and executing educational events and assisting with general administrative tasks.  This position reports to the Director of Preservation Field Services and works closely with staff, Board members and numerous committee members and volunteers. 

The successful employee will be outgoing, personable, self-directed, and experience working with diverse constituents.  The employee will also be an excellent researcher, who is capable of effectively communicating preservation research and theory to the general public.  We are looking for a team member who brings professional skills in education, along with an interest and ability to plan and execute a busy schedule of education program offerings.
