POSITION: Associate Director, Supportive Housing and Community Services

SALARY: $2922.08 per pay period ($70,130 annualized) with excellent benefits. Additionally public transit commute and parking expenses reimbursed through June 30, 2021.

REPORTS TO: Director of Supportive Housing and Community Services

SUBORDINATES: Community Services Program Director II and SHP/CS Program Assistant II

ORGANIZATION AND PROGRAM: Conard House, Inc. is a nonprofit organization empowering people and restoring hope for our community members and workforce. We work with diverse adult populations and strive for cultural competency by respecting experience, promoting inclusion and building community. The position is with the Supportive Housing and Community Services programs, which provide housing, case management, money management and income advocacy at 10 housing sites and 3 community services locations. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in a social service field. Higher education preferred but not required. Must have at least five years of experience supervising managers, managing multiple programs, and fulfilling contract requirements. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and excellent analytical skills to meet program and contract objectives. Must be computer literate, maintain data sets, produce reports and train staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise Community Services Program Directors and Program Assistant II including recruitment, hiring, staffing, conducting performance evaluations and recommending personnel actions.

· Conduct weekly supervision meetings with direct reports and schedule trainings that promote quality of services and workforce development. Schedule and attend team meetings as well as agency wide meetings.

· Manage the development, implementation and organization of Community Services programs. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, contract requirements, and agency policy and procedures.

· Conduct and manage rep-payee intake referrals, assign to sites, monitor wait list, and coordinate with outside providers.

· Develop and maintain best practices manuals and procedures for agency money management services. Train new staff on money management procedures.

· Work with Social Security Administration on specific inquiries and over all changes and priorities applicable to clients and residents at Conard House.

· Collaborate with all Program Directors in identifying and accessing resources and disseminating information and schedule trainings and speakers as needed.

· In collaboration with Director, prepare contractual reports and assist in responding to private and public grants.

· In collaboration with Director, develop and implement standardized policies and procedures for Supportive Housing and Community Services programs.

· Provide operational and administrative support to SHP and CS as needed.

· Provide on-site program coverage at Community Services locations as needed.
