Summary:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures the program compliance with all applicable standards established by all governing bodies. This position monitors program quality and compliance through data collection, review, and analysis to ensure that all programs are operating at maximum efficiency. This position assists with the program’s outcome measurement operations and quality documentation. This position is charged with ensuring all the quality assurance systems/methods (electronic and manual) are fully implemented and monitored through policies and procedures. This role is responsible for the ongoing review and processing of client incidents and grievances.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating standard forms, memos, letters, and other correspondence as needed for use when communicating with other collaborative agencies.
  • Ensure programs and services contribute to CaringWorks’ mission through committee involvement and quality assurance report results.
  • Assist with grants management and grant program support for requesting grants, contract compliance, or other related activities associated with new and current programs/ fund development projects.
  • Assist with internal systems for conducting ongoing outcome measurements and assessment.
  • Assist with maintaining performance management infrastructure.
  • Assist with compiling data from the various software systems as well as data obtained from monthly reports, quarterly reports, and other reports to manage and summarize report findings, agency dashboard findings, and performance measurements.
  • Design and implement analysis plans to inform program oversight and enhance all programs using data best practices across the agency.
  • Assist in Annual Progress Reports and strategic longitudinal evaluation plans.
  • Create and coordinates client satisfaction and employee engagement surveys and focus groups.
  • Work closely with program leadership, staff, and third parties to develop indicators for program operations and outcomes.
  • Design, modify, and offer ongoing recommendations for data-driven tracking and data collection instruments.
  • Research and remain knowledgeable about best-practices, program models, and program performance standards.
  • Work closely to provide outcome information for proposal writing and marketing material as needed.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining an easily accessible library of all relevant outcome measurement tools.
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate training for Residential Services staff an provide ongoing support.
  • Assist with quarterly chart reviews for Residential Services.
  • Participate in monthly quality assurance calls for Residential Services.
  • Review and trouble-shoot client incidents and grievances.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to superiors and various committees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Masters Degree in a related field or applied discipline from an accredited school (i.e. Data Informatics, Behavioral Sciences, Information Technology and Data Analysis, Public Health, etc.) or a Masters Degree in Social Work or similar field.
  • Experience and education in Macro Social Work with at least one-year of experience in clinical social work is preferred.
  • Experience working with homeless population(s) helpful.
  • An understanding of deaf culture and demonstrate cultural competency and knowledge of the issues relevant to persons with hearing loss is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • If applicable, must possess a valid GA state driver’s license and liability insurance minimums as outlined in Caring Works Liability insurance coverage.
  • Able to work evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines when needed.
  • Strong team/consensus building skills.
  • Strong and timely documentation/ reporting skills.
  • Must pass a GAPS (fingerprint) records check and a drug screen.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage and organize projects.
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to work with grantors, funders and other collaborative agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analytical methods.
  • Prior experience with program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Prior experience with analyzing outcome measurements.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in the provision or oversight of analytics for health/human services, nonprofit organizations, and/or homeless programs.

 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Efficiency in Google Docs/Google Drive.
  • Ability to work with at-risk client populations (i.e. chronic illness, mental illness, substance abuse, etc.).
  • Experience with ClientTrack/HMIS or similar Electronic Health Records systems.
