The successful candidate will have extensive experience with all aspects of nonprofit fundraising activities and management. The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit corporation (the “Foundation”) organized to acquire, retain and administer funds to be held and used exclusively for the benefit of The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System (the “Library”). The Foundation was established in 1988 to serve the Library and to promote its mission to serve as a cultural and intellectual center that enriches the community and empowers all residents with essential tools for lifelong learning. The Foundation focuses its work on providing services and facilities over and above what the Library can provide through tax-based funding. The Foundation works to serve the 34 libraries that are a part of the system.
