The CMT Research Foundation is a non-profit foundation that is focused solely on the delivery of treatments and cures for Charcot-Marie-Tooth. The CMT Research Foundation funds high-impact, translational research which accelerates the discovery, development and clinical application of treatments and cures for CMT.
The founders, each living with the disease, bring more than 20 years of collective expertise supporting CMT research and drug development. Through their network of the most respected and accomplished scientists and industry professionals in CMT, coupled with the families who live with CMT, The CMT Research Foundation is driven to expedite drug delivery to the nearly 3 million people who live with CMT globally. The CMT Research Foundation has a strong Scientific Advisory Board and financial resources dedicated to research which can quickly accelerate the current knowledge into the clinic.
Position Description - Marketing and Operation Specialist
This position will support the various key areas of the Foundation, particularly in Marketing, Fundraising and Administrative functions.

- Donor Database Maintenance
- Online Fundraising Platform Maintenance
- Third Party Event Coordination
- Proposal Development
- Conference Planning
- Special Event Support
- Pick-up and administer daily mail
- Coordinate State Registration process and documentation
- Meeting setting for organization leadership
- Photo/Video/Story Library Management
- Sharepoint Oversight (document-sharing site)
- Interface with Accountant
- Maintain Contract Database
- Project management for special initiatives
Research Program Support
- Wizehive support (research project database)
- Scientific Advisory Board member coordination (payments and meeting setting)
The CMT Research Foundation is an entrepreneurial patient-led organization, ready to grow our team. The Marketing and Operations Specialist will support important aspects of the Foundation for the Chief Operations Officer, CEO and Chief Scientific Officer. The ideal candidate will be excited about being part of a foundation with the ability to change the course of a genetic disease. This person is innovative, hard-working, has an entrepreneurial spirit and gumption, takes initiative, and is willing to find creative solutions to the growth of the Foundation.
The position is full-time and work-from-home, and is preferred to be located in the metro-Philadelphia or metro-Atlanta area, but candidates with the right qualifications who can work virtually and independently will be considered.
