The Full Frame Initiative (FFI) is a social change nonprofit working towards a country where everyone has a fair shot at wellbeing—the needs and experiences essential for health and hope. We partner with a growing cohort of pioneering public systems, communities and nonprofits across the country to fundamentally transform the structures and beliefs that perpetuate poverty, violence and oppression. Founded in 2009, FFI is a dynamic, effective, and highly respected force for systemic transformation. We are committed to diversity and equity, and we value a variety of experiences. We are bold, mission-focused, creative, and committed learners, and are willing to use our passion, humor, and hope to fuel change. Please visit our website to learn more.
Job Overview
The Director of Technology is responsible for dramatically increasing FFI’s impact and reach through cutting-edge use of technology to leverage untapped potential in our streams of work. You are a big picture, visionary thinker, and can translate and implement that vision, leveraging technology for action and impact. Your passion is rapidly connecting the dots in new and different ways, making the impossible inevitable by finding technological means that didn’t exist a year ago.
In this role, you will function as both the tech evangelizer and booster rocket, taking FFI’s foundational commitment to use of technology to next-level effectiveness. You relish the connection between technology and impact, particularly as it relates to creating doors into work for people and communities whose point of access is primarily digital. You nimbly translate your experience into a variety of contexts, recognizing that different contexts present new opportunities that require new tools and applications. You effectively communicate your vision for impact through technology, influencing your team and peers to embrace the tools and habits necessary for success.

How to Apply
FFI is interested in building a high-performing diverse team. In order to do that we approach hiring a little differently...rather than analyzing resumes in an attempt to determine potential for success, instead we have built a recruitment process that actively removes unconscious bias and relies on proven talent predictors and targeted skills assessments. The first step in this process is an analysis of your responses to a series of short response prompts. So rather than updating your resume and drafting a cover letter, instead, we ask you to put your application energy and time into responding to the question prompts included in the application.
