Position Description:

This professional builds strong community partnerships and maintains ongoing collaboration with other service providers to ensure high-quality services for PADV clients. The Vice President of Prevention and Outreach Services is responsible for the development, expansion, and supervision of the Teen Dating Violence, Community Outreach, and Legal Advocacy Programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide oversight of the teen dating violence program, community outreach, and legal advocacy services.
  2. Provide leadership in organizing and developing content for Prevention and Outreach events.
  3. Build and enhance community relationships through public speaking, community awareness, development of community partnerships, networking with appropriate community leaders.
  4. Oversee outreach services in the community and schools.
  5. Represent PADV on various community collaborative groups.
  6. Provide oversight of PADV’s contracts with and services to Family Violence Intervention Programs.
  7. Supervise Outreach and Prevention staff and contractors.
  8. Ensure compliance with the terms and reporting requirements for all relevant program service grants and contracts.
  9. Provide information needed for tracking service delivery outcomes.
  10. Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to assist with intern and volunteer trainings. 
  11. Work schedule is flexible as needed to cover the responsibilities of the position including nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass Cogent background check.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Masters in related field preferred).
  • Knowledge of domestic violence and its impact on victims.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse groups.
  • 21 years old with a clean driving record and valid drivers’ license.
  • Strong public speaking skills.  
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Supervision Experience.
  • Computer and software application skills.
