Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch is a non-profit organization with a rich 40 year history fueled by a vision of transforming lives through Christ’s love. Timothy Hill is currently searching for a dynamic leader, with a proven track record in residential care, with strong supervisory experience, who is passionate about helping at-risk young adult men bridge the gap between adolescence to independence. 

The Transitional Program Director oversees the totality of operations of the Transitional Program at Timothy Hill’s Smithville, TN campus. This program currently serves young men ages 17-21. This role includes coordination and oversight of several vital categories of transitional living including case management, vocational training, and clinical services. This role oversees an Assistant Program Director, Case Manager, Nurse, Workforce Development Coordinator and a team of live-in Caretakers and Direct Care Staff, requiring the position holder to have strong personnel management skills. 

Success in this position requires a high level of administrative ability, passion for the success of disadvantaged young people, excitement around team development, an ability to understand large amounts of regulatory guidelines and the ability to work independently. This position also requires strong networking skills, as the Program Director is the point person for developing relationships with potential referral partners and community resources for the youth in care.

The Transitional Program Director serves as an advocate for the young people in Timothy Hill’s care and ensures that staff, and the program itself, adhere to all Tennessee Department of Children Services requirements and regulations. 

Qualifications for this position include the ability to pass a local and national background check, a minimum of five years experience in an administrative role and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred, although additional leadership experience may qualify a candidate in lieu of a graduate degree.
