Divisional Client Management System Specialist-Louisville, KY Louisville, KY, USA Req #12546 November 20 The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Divisional Client Management Specialist for the Kentucky – Tennessee Territory, located in Louisville, KY.
Job Summary
Plans, coordinates, and monitors the implementation of the Pathway of Hope (POH) initiative and Client Management System (CMS) for the division. Provides support in the areas of direct service, community resource development, case management, and data maintenance to help ensure the full implementation of the initiative within the division. Works collaboratively with the Territorial Pathway of Hope Team to support the implementation of the initiative's objectives including administrative functions for all providers and units in the division.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and support of The Salvation Army mission and philosophy with specific support of both spiritual and social program activities. Knowledge of the operations and business processes applicable to the Pathway of Hope initiative, client management systems, and case management. Demonstrated skill in developing materials and resources for training purposes as well as the ability to demonstrate significant experience in presentation skills for individual, small and large group presentations. Demonstrated capacity to train adult learners. Knowledge of community outreach, organization and community capacity development. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to perform the support and coordination functions of this job in a collaborative manner that promotes the concept of a territory-wide social services program as a crucial element of The Salvation Army's long-term stability and growth. Ability to research, evaluate, modify programs and related materials for Pathway of Hope.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) or comparable graduate degree from an accredited college or university and Minimum of three years of case management experience providing services to individuals and families utilizing the strengths based approach Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Certifications/Licenses:
Valid State Driver's License
LSW, LCSW, LCP or LCPC, preferred
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to travel throughout the Southern Territory periodically to work with territorial, Divisional and local social services staff. Ability to work nights/weekends and travel intermittently throughout the Southern Territory and other locations as required. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
