Position Status: Independent Contractor requiring up to 25 hours per week
Rate of Pay: $21 an hour
Location: Atlanta, GA or St. Louis, MO
Reports To: VP of Development
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate giving campaigns
- Identify potential major gift donors
- Identify opportunity for additional giving campaigns
- Reconcile donations with Finance
- Input data into Raiser’s Edge re: gifts
- Research data within Raiser’s Edge
Experience & Education Required:
- Proficiency using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM
- At least two years (2) experience in coordinating annual fund campaigns and/or marketing campaigns to secure donations, increase participation and engagement
- Knowledge of peer to peer fundraising
- Graduated and earned Bachelor degree from accredited academic institution
- Experience working in entrepreneurial manner and with a team
Summary of Position:
The Individual Giving Coordinator (“IGC”) will have the primary responsibility to implement the giving campaigns that are focused on garnering donations from students and alumni. Currently there are four (4) campaigns annually, First of Many, Class Gift, Nothing but Net and our year end campaign that coincides with Giving Tuesday. The IGC will also be required to reconcile donations with finance and input the contributions into Raiser’s Edge on a bi-weekly basis. This position also requires segmentation of data and researching for trends within the database to identify potential major gift donors.
