If you are passionate about reproductive health and the opportunity to contribute in a mission-driven environment, consider joining Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) as a Senior Accountant.  This is a full-time, 35 hour/week position responsible for monitoring the financial resources of the agency, managing the fiscal reporting functions, and monitoring and completing various aspects of the month-end close.  Along with the Controller, this position is responsible for the utilization of the general ledger software.  The position also assists the Controller with specific financial functions in the medical insurance billing software program.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and financial management.  Experience in non-profit and/or healthcare accounting preferred.  Candidate must possess superb skills in oral and written communication; exceptional interpersonal skills; a self-motivating and independent work-style with ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external partners; strong analytical, critical and creative thinking skills, including adaptability, persistence and problem solving; strong organizational and time management skills including follow-up, documentation and reporting; ability to accommodate a flexible schedule; and proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Experience using Nextgen software is a plus.
