We are seeking an individual who is excited to support executive level leadership. This position will provide administrative support for a dynamic executive director who is rigorously committed to local and national social justice advocacy. You will be required to interface with a diverse group of external collaborators, stakeholders, staff and community. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload, and recommend changes in office practices and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Solutions NOT Punishment Collaborative reserves the right to unilaterally modify, remove, or add to any of the following:
Reports to the Executive Director
32 hours per week
$25.00 per hour
- Maintain appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, virtual and in- person conferences, and travel
- Read and route correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications
- Confirm meetings and conferences, and oversee the communication of meeting details among all invited parties
- Assist with organization of both printed and electronic materials
- Organize all paperwork and files pertaining to monthly and annual reports, special events, and any other major projects
- Manage Executive Director’s monthly expense reports
- Manage ordering of food, flowers, sending swag to members, board, etc. as requested
Other Responsibilities
- Provide administration support to other team members, per direction of the ED, as needed during busy seasons and special events
- Support SNaPCo programmatic and campaign functions as needed
- Provide other administrative duties as assigned by the executive director

- Work a flexible schedule as needed
- Meet in person and travel as needed for training or to fulfill job requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree preferred as well as 2 years experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant, or a combination of education and experience; strong computer, communication & interpersonal skills required
