MEMBERSHIP AND NIGHT ADMINISTRATOR

Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (32 hours):  During COVID19 hours can be flexible and some remote.

The position is responsible for all database functions related to Membership and Fundraising tasks and requires an advanced knowledge of running queries, analyzing reports, and keeping up with all database changes, and answering all emails and phone calls pertaining to membership and fundraisers. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as the primary contact for members, nonmembers, staff and others concerning membership and fundraising information
  • Database administration including creating and running reports, exporting reports to create charts in excel and database updates
  • Track and send out correspondence to members and donors
  • Input and tracking of donations and fundraising activities
  • Answering phone calls and making phone calls in reference to membership questions and contacting donors and participants in fundraisers
  • Be the facilities representative and contact for janitorial staff
  • Responsible for input of checks, credit cards and running payment log report and reconciling. 
  • Responsible for all calendar input and room assignments
  • General administrative tasks include answering phones, copying, stuffing, scheduling and filing, creating tent cards, distributing mail, ordering supplies, cleanup of building
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Support Services

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Commitment to The Junior League of Atlanta’s mission
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required; high level of professionalism
  • Strong writing skills and ability to cater messaging to different audiences
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities to keep projects on track in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
  • Provides support to many different volunteer positions
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration
  • Ability to communicate effectively

INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF ALL ASPECTS OF:

  • Databases (Digital Cheetah or similar Membership/Donor Database)
  • Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
  • Mailchimp
  • Social Media

EDUCATION

High school required with some college preferred or equivalent work experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is primarily in internal offices
  • Local meetings/trainings as appropriate
  • Some nights and weekend work required
  • Most be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION:

This position is classified as full-time, hourly-non-exempt status
