Job Purpose

As a result of funding made available through Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act or the ‘‘CARES Act’’, Partners for HOME seeks qualified applicants to help oversee the coordination of housing of approximately 2000 households experiencing homelessness. In this role, the Project Manager will support the efforts between three distinct areas:  1. Rental Assistance Intermediary: Administration of project-based and tenant based rental assistance in order to provide safe, stable housing for homeless individuals and families, 2.  Housing search and location intermediary, and 3. Case Management Providers: to facilitate housing stability or to overcome barriers to obtaining funding. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily efforts to move 800 homeless individuals into housing quickly and divert 1200 households from homelessness.  Partners for HOME mission is to lead a coordinated community effort and to layer and leverage the resources and relationships to make homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring. 

 

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an ambitious, and industrious relationship builder to undertake a variety of policy, administrative and project management tasks under the direction of the Senior Project Manager. 

Operational duties include, but not limited to:

  • Work with System Navigation to ensure timely unit matching
  • Run daily reports in HMIS and input to data management programs to monitor housing queue
  • Work to incorporate information on capacity, utilization, availability, CE entries, exits + current and historical data into one main dashboard
  • Assist with training of new and reallocated staff on data needs and implementation (i.e. case management notes to track housing stage progress, etc.)
  • Serve as point of contact for case managers to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Support activities of Housing Central Command
  • Assist with coordination of outreach activities and document readiness activities
  • Ensure appropriate documentation provided, confirm unit availability as needed and identify bottlenecks to obtaining housing
  • Provide support and direction in unit matching to case managers working with clients
  • Coordinate with several community partners to implement process of unit matching
  • Monitor daily data management tracking for housing queue, with targeted population tracking
  • Assist with identifying prioritized individuals based on CoC prioritization policies
  • Work closely with other PfH staff to identify and resolve any issue in HMIS as they pertain to CARES/ESG-II funded projects
  • Participate in case conferencing and support activities to move individuals into housing
  • Provide support for activities between rental assistance intermediary, housing search and location intermediary and case management organizations
  • Provide support for activities to implement and scale rapid roll out of diversion to quickly divert households out of homelessness
  • Run reports in HMIS as needed to summarize and identify trends in key performance measures in collaboration with the Performance Team
  • Provide support for activities between the rental assistance intermediary, housing search and location intermediary and case management organization
  • Help to facilitate activities to implement and scale rapid roll out of diversion to quickly divert households out of homelessness
  • Partner with agencies receiving related funding resources to further alignment with the CoC
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our Continuum Partners, partnering with them to ensure a transparent system is in place

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High energy and a passion for the CoC’s mission and goals
  • Previous experience working with the homeless population or housing preferable
  • Skilled in Excel and have experience working in HMIS
  • Proficiency in Power BI or other data management tools is a plus
  • Experience with HMIS preferable
  • Strong initiative and curiosity
  • Experience organizing work groups and trainings
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines
  • Experience leading work groups and trainings
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

While not a direct service provider, Partners for HOME is a nonprofit organization authorized by the Atlanta CoC and City of Atlanta to provide homeless response; fundraising and grantmaking; and performance and compliance management services to the local homeless ecosystem.
