Job Title:  Reporting Specialist Part-time  

Reports To:  Senior Business Analyst 

Status:  Non-Exempt, Part-Time - Hourly   

Hourly Rate:  $17.00-$19.000/Hourly 

Location:  Mableton Business Center 

JOB SUMMARY 

This position performs intermediate reporting functions involving membership, product sales, retail, and programming.  This position requires accuracy and efficiency and the ability to understand and compute data for various projects.  Work will be reviewed by the Senior Business Analyst.   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Works cross-departmentally to determine proper coding for budget reconciliations 
  • Determines opportunities for funding through data retrieval, analysis, and research 
  • Determines process improvements for streamlined and seamless Mission Delivery reporting 
  • Researches and resolves data reporting discrepancies and other outstanding items when generating reports 
  • Be a high-functioning team player 
  • Communicates with department leadership as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information or resolve problems 
  • Prepares standard operating procedures for reporting  
  • Other duties as assigned 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

  • Basic Analysis: The ability to analyze data.  This includes creating spreadsheets/dashboards, explaining variances, identifying issues, and making appropriate recommendations. 
  • Demonstrate understanding and utilization of computer systems and applications as tools for analysis with knowledge of features/functionality in various systems 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while managing multiple deadlines 
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Able to understand data rules and apply the rules consistently to dynamic data and inputs 
  • Proven ability with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel 
  • Must have accurate typing and data entry skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

PREFERRED SKILLS 

  • At least two years of experience in operational reporting, or data management field   
  • Knowledge of Girl Scout organization 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
