Position Overview, Background and Purpose: 

Reporting to the Director of Rollins, the Field Implementation Coordinator (FIC) is primarily responsible for executing and supporting the implementation of Rollins’ Read Right From The Start (RRFTS) language and literacy model of ecosystem construction at all Birth to Five (B-5) partner sites (early childhood education centers).   The FIC supports the day-to-day activities of Rollins’ B-5 facilitators in all matters related to implementation with the purpose of ensuring model fidelity.   Program implementation (professional development and coaching services) at these sites has the ultimate goal of ensuring child outcomes in language and literacy and informing/facilitating scalability of our model through Cox Campus.  The FIC works closely with the Directors of Coaching and Partnerships to ensure close alignment in all areas of content, coaching and partnership. This is a field-based position, requiring extensive travel to early education partner sites in local metro Atlanta area (note: this requirement may be affected during Covid-19 conditions).

Essential Job Duties

Day-to-Day Team Operations

  • Ensure fidelity of the RRFTS implementation model at all B-5 partner sites with a focus on children’s language and literacy outcomes and scalability of our model;
  • Support B-5 facilitators in the development and monitoring of site-level language and literacy goals aligned with model;
  • Serve as a liaison between the Rollins Center leadership, B-5 site-level leadership, and executive leadership at partner organizations to ensure continuity and realization of the work;
  • Assist in the ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness at both the level of the individual B-5 sites and organization-wide

Model Implementation Oversight and Staff, Model and Content Support

  • Provide oversight and support to B-5 teams on all components of model implementation
  • Provide program/model content expertise
  • Work with facilitators in developing a site-specific action plan for ecosystem construction
  • Join weekly team meetings with facilitators to remain informed of model implementation progress at each site and troubleshoot as needed
  • Work with teams to identify and develop a plan to address general implementation needs within teams and across sites
  • Provide input in the development of employee support plans for all team members and secure additional coaching support for facilitators from Lead Instructional Coaches when needed
  • Complete annual performance evaluations on team facilitators
  • Orient newly hired facilitators, provide training and guidance on model implementation
  • Maintain consistent schedule of communication with facilitators and Director of Partnerships to troubleshoot partner-related challenges
  • Maintain regular communication with Director of Rollins to troubleshoot model-related challenges (via Field Implementation Team meeting)
  • Maintain regular communication with Director of Coaching to troubleshoot coaching-related challenges (via Field Implementation Team meeting)
  • Communicate effectively using slack, Cox Campus private channels and other available technology

Relationships with Onsite Partners

  • Develop and maintain respectful and responsive relationships with our onsite partners (directors, OSPs, and others) using clear and culturally competent communication skills
  • Effectively engage site leadership in ecosystem co-construction
  • Support the establishment of clear expectations and accountability of partners
  • Participate in professional learning experiences, reflections and monthly OSP and Director meetings

Data, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Assist in the ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness  
  • Consistently use data (Cox Campus, Dosage Tracker, child outcomes, etc.) to monitor the development of ecosystem construction at each partner site and to support facilitators in their work
  • Effectively use fidelity forms and other tools to assess program effectiveness/quality
  • Provide input to the Director of Rollins about program reports prepared by Data and Evaluation team  

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in routine Field Implementation Team meetings with the Rollins Leadership Team and others, as needed
  • Regularly meet with the Director of Rollins to monitor goals and responsibilities   

Positions Supervised:  B-5 Facilitators at Sheltering Arms, YMCA, ELELA/Drew and other partner sites on an as needed basis

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or closely related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision of birth to pre-K educational programs, programs focused on language and literacy development, and/or teacher coaching programs
  • Proficient in use of data for analyzing progress of goals and objectives
  • Expertise in language and literacy early development is highly valued and desired
  • Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills
  • Goal and results oriented, problem solver, collaborative, and flexible

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a 220-day, full-time school position, offering a generous benefit package including health/dental/life/vision and long term disability insurance. The Speech School subsidizes health insurance premiums of staff and families. Salary:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
