Job Details

We are seeking an experienced full-time Substitute Teachers to start immediately and work through the 2020-21 school year. Required on-campus hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Pay is $12/hour. This position (full-time) is benefits eligible.
The Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing classroom coverage while a primary teacher is out - facilitating student learning and classroom instruction, in the teacher's absence.
Day to day, a substitute teacher will:
- Motivate, nurture, and challenge students
- Deliver lesson plans
- Support relationships with every child
- Help support a creative, self-directed and collaborative learning environment
- Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively within the school community
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Applicable experience working with children
- Understands early learners, early childhood development and the identity development and learning processes of early adolescents
- Skilled at establishing meaningful relationships with students
- Possess the following characteristics:
