Preschool Teacher

The Teacher has responsibility for assisting the Director in planning and executing an educational program in line with the Morningside Presbyterian Preschool’s goals and philosophy.  She/he is to serve as a role model for children in work habits, table manners, play, and in attitudes toward staff, parents and children.  The position requires independent action in carrying out assigned duties in the absence of a supervisor.

The Teacher will hold a college diploma with a minimum of one (1) year experience with children.  Teachers must be in good health and able to work with active children; have a proven ability to relate to children and adults on all socio-economic levels; have good communication skills; and be flexible in work assignments and duties.
