Job Title: Elementary Education Lead

Hourly Pay: $12-15 based on education and experience

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Restoration Atlanta (RATL) joins women & children on their journey out of homelessness. RATL partners with Atlanta-based homeless shelters to provide child development and Christian ministry services to families experiencing homelessness. Beginning in August 2020, RATL Programming will consist of all day care through RATL Virtual Learning and child development environments. Operating for 7 hours daily Monday-Friday at no cost, families are able to focus on working to sustain their families while their children are in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment!

Staff members manage a classroom of students, engage in virtual learning curriculum, and share Bible-based teachings and values with elementary aged children. RATL believes that "being with" is more transformative than "doing for" which is why we strive to cultivate healthy, supportive relationships with the children and families in our care.

RATL is seeking an Elementary Education Lead to be the head facilitator for a classroom group of elementary aged students ranging from 1st to 5th grade. Each student in the RATL Program is actively enrolled in virtual learning through a Georgia public school system. As a facilitator, the Elementary Lead will be responsible for managing a classroom of up to 12 students, assessing individual educational needs of students, offering academic support, and supporting the children for 7.5 hours daily. The Lead instructor has at least one additional staff member or intern assigned to their classroom to assist with classroom management and offer individualized academic support for the duration of each day.
