TechBridge is a nonprofit that arms other nonprofits on the frontline of alleviating the causes of poverty with technology that will allow them to expand the impact of their mission for the millions of men, women and children who suffer from lack of access to shelter, food, employment, education, healthcare, and financial literacy. 

We are recruiting for a Program Manager for our Technology Career Program (TCP). The TCP Program Manager will manage the overall strategic planning, goals and implementation for the Technology Career Program. Responsibilities include operational management of the team, vendor contracts, budgeting, community partners, scheduling and curriculum management. As the program grows nationally, the project manager will support and sustain successful relationships with school districts, corporate sponsors, and community partners.  

The TCP Program Manager will be responsible for general management and oversight of the program from recruiting through graduation as well as data analytics for ongoing evaluation and improvement of outcomes. 

Key responsibilities include: 

Program Oversight/Execution (50%) 

  • Lead and oversee application and interview process for applicants 
  • Recruit, negotiate and hire facilitators and volunteers for every program  
  • Schedule and facilitate team meetings between TechBridge employees and contractors. 
  • Work with TechBridge, Goodwill staff to drive day to day execution of the workforce development programs  
  • Evaluate and improve sessions based on feedback from ongoing cohorts  
  • Recruit and prepare alumni and success coaches participation in TB events such as Digital Ball 

Strategy/Program Planning (40%) 

  • Foster and nurture key external relationships necessary for program success. 
  • Forecast, plan, and implement each new local TCP cohort  
  • Respond and collaborate with Leadership team on content for grant opportunities  
  • Design and communicate program calendar to include technology, business, and financial literacy classes  
  • Implement on criteria for each cohort’s curriculum, certifications, instructors, and applicants. 
  • Plan events such as kickoff, ending presentation and graduation  
  • Create annual budget and oversee expenses to include managing and reporting on grant deliverables 
  • Initiate invoices and payments with Finance 
  • Create. Communicate and implement program policies and procedures 
  • Manage full-time, contract team members and volunteers with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities. 
  • Monitor vendor contracts, responsibilities and reporting 
  • Direct and implement changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. 
  • Provide schedule of events to stakeholders regularly 
  • Gain input from stakeholders in planning process throughout program execution  
  • Support marketing strategy with the marketing team. 
  • Support program growth by strategic planning and goal setting with VP, Consulting & Customer Success 

Data/Reporting and Performance Measurement (10%) 

  • Develop a system of motivators for coaching and monitoring students in a remote setting 
  • Document and track milestones for all deliverables set by the VP, Consulting & Customer Success 
  • Collect and evaluate outcomes to support the strategic direction of the Program 
  • Support the evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement 
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout program life cycle. 
  • Manage the implementation of program management software for program data collection, analysis, and sharing. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience; Education experience in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, Higher Ed. desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager or equivalent work experience. Microsoft Office knowledge including, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

  • Integrity. A trusted source for students, instructors and other stakeholders. Able to build and sustain successful relationships.
