Regional Field & Volunteer Coordinator - Atlanta

Spread The Vote obtains government-issued photo IDs for eligible voters. We are building a scalable and sustainable way to help voters get the IDs they need for jobs, housing, voting, and more 365 days a year PLUS election day.

We are seeking an energetic, responsible individual to join our organization. In this position, you will have the opportunity to focus on the ins and outs of the Volunteer and Field Programs under the direction of the Director of Volunteer Training and Deputy Executive Director. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Field Program: 

• Assisting clients in obtaining IDs
• Consulting with Spread The Vote staff when challenges arise
• Inputting data into the databases
• Cultivating partnerships

   

Volunteer Program:

• Create and distribute recruitment postings for volunteer positions
• Assist in the management of volunteer and training databases by maintaining accurate information, data, and records
• Perform administrative assignments including scheduling, drafting memos, reports, and note taking during meetings
• Other tasks may be assigned

   

Qualifications:

• Experience with navigating Atlanta, GA
• Ability to listen and follow instructions from STV staff
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Basic computer literacy and/or willingness to learn tech
• Ability to drive or take public transportation
• Self-motivated and passionate about the community
• Attention to detail
