POSITION SUMMARY:  Provides timely, efficient, and effective support of grantmaker education programs Works with key sector partners to identify and execute strategic partnership opportunities. Supports fundraising goals through research and grantwriting.  Provides project management support for Fellowship Leadership Program.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership with the development of research, grant writing and reporting on behalf of the organization
  • Manage virtual programming educational offerings, calendar and evaluations
  • Support collaboration with key sector partners to deliver programming and education opportunities for members
  • Assist with events and meetings including program development, thought leader/speaker selection, promotional and meeting materials, coordinating speaker bios and presentation materials, follow-up surveys and evaluation reporting
  • Assist in ensuring program materials are up-to-date
  • Assist with onsite meeting needs such as AV setup and support; registration check-in; and general meeting support as assigned
  • Support Committee work as assigned, including minutes and agendas
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as needed
  • Provide general support to other staff as requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience with a grantmaking organization, nonprofit, or member association
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent word processing skills
  • Strong writing skills

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation – both external and internal
  • Experience with database management and data analysis.
  • Training in research techniques and methodology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the philanthropic and nonprofit sector is preferred
  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises good judgment

  • Time Management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to schedule and priority changes
