MHP Salud, a national non-profit agency is currently seeking a Director of Business Services. As an organization that is over 99% grant funded, of which a large majority is federal and state funding, we have expanded in size to require additional positions within our Business Office.

This new position has been created to coordinate and manage key activities within the Business Office department of the Allocation and Resources division. Although the full job description is available on our website posting, the successful candidate will:

• Apply a broad understanding of accounting principles and the organization’s finance structure to coordinate and/or monitor accounting, bookkeeping, and grant compliance functions of the organization.  
• Review and understand governing grant and contract documents to assist with budget management and compliance with all conditions of funding.
• Have strong project management abilities, including the ability to analyze complex situations and identify missing components, determine and implement the best course of action, and organize and prioritize tasks.

The position will supervise the hourly staff in the division and will also interface with other staff, divisions, and vendors to gather key information, communicate changes, and explore solutions to various issues. As such, the ability to work independently and as a member of a team is key to success in the position.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, with at least 4 years of work experience related to job responsibilities. Prior work experience with grants, contracts or related areas is strongly preferred. Additional work experience directly related to job duties in replacement of appropriate degree will be considered. An ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is highly preferred. The selected candidate must be bondable.

Salary Range: $62,000-68,000, DOQ.
