Responsible for management and administrative duties related to the professional development, on-going coaching and mentoring of student callers. Analyzes data and makes strategic decisions related to program performance. Composes succinct, knowledgeable scripting for phone calls based on KSUs mission, history, and fundraising goals. Responsible for overseeing student philanthropy efforts, including attending occasional student events and providing support and guidance to the student philanthropy board.

  • Manages, coaches and mentors student callers and maintains a professional atmosphere within the call center
  • Responsible for implementation, coordination of strategies, information, and procedures necessary for callers to perform
  • Collaborates with Director to determine strategic planning on individual fundraising campaigns for specified funds
  • Meets regularly with supervisor to ensure a cohesive annual giving strategy across all methods of solicitation
  • Manages complex fundraising call campaigns such as challenge grants and event asks
  • Responsible for Phonathon specific stewardship, including thank you cards to credit card gifts $50 and over and matching gift postcards
  • Responsible for student philanthropy programming
  • Acts as the staff advisor to the Student Philanthropy Council, overseeing fundraising efforts, student events and works with the Director of Annual Giving to set goals for the program

  • Able to convey a professional and positive image internally and externally, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization in the call center
  • Willingness to work an afternoon/evening schedule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
  • Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • One (1) year of related work experience
  • Experience with high volume out-bound calling campaigns
  • Previous supervisory experience
