Company

Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta strengthens our community by engaging volunteer attorneys to provide nonprofits with free business legal services.  We assist 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations that serve low-income or disadvantaged individuals and are unable to pay for legal services. Our clients work to improve the lives of the homeless, domestic violence survivors, at-risk youth, senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and other groups in need.

Our volunteers are primarily transactional attorneys at law firms and corporations. We provide them with rewarding pro bono opportunities in their area of expertise, whether that be corporate, contracts, employment, healthcare, intellectual property, real estate, tax, bankruptcy or technology. Since our launch in late 2005, Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta has assisted over 1000 nonprofit organizations with over 5,000 different legal matters. Over 3,000 attorneys have volunteered their services to Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta clients. In 2019 alone, the direct legal services provided to nonprofit organizations by our volunteer attorneys were valued at over $4.5 million.

Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta has an annual budget of over $900,000 and receives funding from foundations, corporations, law firms and the legal community, and individuals.
