Job Details

Overview

The Bilingual Child and Family Clinician leads a multi-disciplinary team in supporting children who are referred through social service, probation or mental health departments. The primary goal of our program is to provide children and families with services that will ensure safety, stability, and permanency. Seneca’s clinical practice model integrates attachment theory to build healthy relationships, learning theory to replace negative behaviors with positive ones, and systems theory to address environmental factors

Seneca's Wraparound programs offer family-centered, individualized, culturally relevant, and strength-based support to families with complex and enduring needs. Wraparound works in close partnership with Department of Family and Children Services, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, and group homes, providing strengths-based and outcome-oriented alternatives to group care placements for children and youth by drawing upon community and family strengths. Treatment and support services are tailored to address behaviors and meet family needs, even as they change over time.

Seneca Family of Agencies is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities a network of outstanding mental health, community based, and educational services. Celebrating diversity and creating a culture of inclusion increases creativity, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork. Seneca’s agency-wide DEI Advisory Board, Employee Resource Groups, and Language Practice Groups help our employees provide culturally and linguistically relevant services to the families we serve. For more information on our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative, click here!
