REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel
  • Attention to detail and follow through
  • Friendly customer service and the ability to be a “loveable nudge” when necessary
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and flexibility to shift priorities when needed
  • Editing and proofreading skills a plus
  • A background in fundraising is not essential, but applicants should have an interest in the nonprofit arena

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect research using NOZA, Wealth Engine, Foundation Directory Online, Google, etc.
  • Donor database analysis using Excel, including analysis of clients giving patterns
  • Project management
  • Write proposals and reports
  • Create and analyze client surveys using SurveyMonkey
  • Organize public trainings
  • Take notes at interviews and client meetings
  • Provide administrative support including correspondence, scheduling, expense reports, etc.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Other duties as needed

BENEFITS

This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. We offer a competitive salary, based on experience. Benefits include medical and dental coverage and participation in a 401K plan once eligibility period is met.
