Sierra Club Major Gifts Officer

The Sierra Club is hiring an Advancement Director for the Midwest, based in Chicago, to steward philanthropists and foundations in a 12-state region with capacity to give $100,000 or more at one of the most critical times in our history.

If you have experience thoughtfully connecting with people around their values--as well as interest in Sierra Club’s role addressing climate change, protecting public lands, water, and wildlife; and getting people outdoors--you would be a welcome and valued addition to our team.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a personal commitment to equity, inclusion, and justice and be adept at working collaboratively and managing time effectively to support Sierra Club’s statewide and national campaigns.
