Job Details

Our House is seeking qualified development professionals to join our team! We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Grants Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Grants Manager manages the grant calendar, develops grant proposals and reports and coordinates the grant process with internal stakeholders.  The Grants Manager develops and executes effective marketing strategies to maintain current donors, to increase giving by current donors, to expand base of donors to support Our House and is responsible for managing the social media platforms for the organization. The Grants Manager will actively participate in the cultivation and stewardship of donors, including developing ongoing and specialized donor communications and reports.

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years grant writing/reporting experience with non-profit

Preferred Experience: Prior experience writing government grant requests and reports

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Skills and Characteristics:  Excellent management, organizational and planning skills; multi-tasking independently with little supervision; above average communication skills, both oral and written; highly-developed interpersonal skills, above average computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word Press and Raisers Edge.
