Position Description: The position coordinates and maintains compliance of the Reducing the Risk Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) federal grant in  6 rural settings in Georgia (Brooks County, Colquitt County, Floyd County, Greene County, Laurens County, Murray County). This position is grant dependent. Employment will conclude on 6/30/2021.The Compliance Coordinator will provide guidance and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the implementation of the TPP grant and memorandums of understanding with sub-recipients. The Compliance Coordinator will manage compliance with the cooperative agreements and coordinate communications between and among sub-recipients and with the community at large via web presence, digital newsletters and various social media platforms. 

Additional Position Objectives:

  • Provide guidance and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the implementation of the TPP grant and memorandums of understanding with six sub-recipients.
  • Participate in and represent The Alliance and the TPP program at meetings and working groups within the State and local communities.
  • Work with sub-recipients to provide support for data collection and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with Reducing the Risk technical assistance partner, GCAPP, to ensure sub-recipients receive training and technical assistance, as needed.
  • Assist sub-recipients with identifying communication needs and developing informational materials that inform parents and interested community members about ongoing and special Teen Pregnancy Prevention programs, services and/or activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to observe program activities and ensure sub-recipients are meeting quality standards, consistent process, and program goals.
  • Develop, implement and monitor Communication Plan as outlined in TPP Application.
  • Monitor organizations fiscal and programmatic compliance with responsibilities and deliverables as outlined in cooperative agreement and memorandums of understanding.
  • Compile collective fiscal and programmatic compliance reports and other data, as required and requested by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
  • Serve as liaison with HHS-TPP team, alongside the Alliance Executive Director.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience with grant funded adolescent health programs preferred. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who is able to work successfully in a diverse team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in handling multiple priorities, project management and meeting deadlines; strong planning and organizational skills, including an understanding of sustainability and strategic planning.
  • Outcome driven; strong project management ability.
  • Able to work through others to accomplish goals.
  • Broad knowledge of the overall structure, programs, and services of Boys & Girls Clubs and Teen Pregnancy Prevention.

$50,000 Annually through June 30, 2021
