Who We Are: Mission: Hope is a Christ-centered organization committed to equipping local leaders and churches to bring about sustainable transformation in isolated villages.
Role Overview: The Office Manager is a vital member of the Mission: Hope team. The Office Manager oversees the smooth flow of daily operations, supports the team, provides policy and day-to-day financial oversight; supports the CEO; processes incoming gifts and ensures they are properly recorder in CRM; is generally the first point-of-contact for incoming calls, and manages vendor relations. Additional administrative duties are required as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review / Approve for full-time employees (bi-monthly)
- Manages human resources functions, including staff development, policy, payroll, employee recognition and events, appraisal process, and all other functions that ensure the team has adequate administrative support to thrive.
- Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, overseeing facility management, and managing the team calendar.
- Manages vendor relationships, oversees contracts, and ensures invoices are reviewed and paid on time.
- Manages incoming mail and processes gifts, ensuring they are properly recorded.
- Provides a monthly financial summary report that is used by the CEO and board for financial stewardship.
- Provides human resource support for team leaders as they hire new employees. This includes recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and other forms of training.
- Achieves financial objectives by collaborating with CEO on annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions to clear class deficiencies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Christ follower who is passionate about international ministry
- Five or more years’ office management or administrative experience
- Strong computer skills
- Detail-oriented
- People-oriented with a passion to equip staff to thrive
- Competent math and basic accounting skills
- Multi-tasker
- Good written and oral communicator
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Full-Time Position
- 40 – 50 Hours per week
