Who We Are: Mission: Hope is a Christ-centered organization committed to equipping local leaders and churches to bring about sustainable transformation in isolated villages.

Role Overview: The Office Manager is a vital member of the Mission: Hope team. The Office Manager oversees the smooth flow of daily operations, supports the team, provides policy and day-to-day financial oversight; supports the CEO; processes incoming gifts and ensures they are properly recorder in CRM; is generally the first point-of-contact for incoming calls, and manages vendor relations. Additional administrative duties are required as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review / Approve for full-time employees (bi-monthly)
  • Manages human resources functions, including staff development, policy, payroll, employee recognition and events, appraisal process, and all other functions that ensure the team has adequate administrative support to thrive.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, overseeing facility management, and managing the team calendar.
  • Manages vendor relationships, oversees contracts, and ensures invoices are reviewed and paid on time.
  • Manages incoming mail and processes gifts, ensuring they are properly recorded.
  • Provides a monthly financial summary report that is used by the CEO and board for financial stewardship.
  • Provides human resource support for team leaders as they hire new employees. This includes recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and other forms of training.
  • Achieves financial objectives by collaborating with CEO on annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions to clear class deficiencies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Christ follower who is passionate about international ministry
  • Five or more years’ office management or administrative experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • People-oriented with a passion to equip staff to thrive
  • Competent math and basic accounting skills
  • Multi-tasker
  • Good written and oral communicator
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Full-Time Position
  • 40 – 50 Hours per week
