Job Description 

Lead the communication efforts of the school, including coordination and creation of marketing materials and campaigns, maintaining the school website and social media, and oversight and stewardship of the school messaging in collaboration with the Executive Director. This position is a member of the administrative leadership team and reports directly to the Executive Director.


Engage, recruit and manage communication with prospective families. 

Distribute & Collect enrollment information 

Accurately maintains and submits enrollment and marketing data; tracks enrollment trends

Planning and management of existing events and brainstorming of new enrollment events and marketing opportunities

Provide direct oversight to Day School, while ensuring AFDS is in compliance with Safe Sanctuary, BFTS and NAEYC Standards.


Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s Degree. 5 years of experience in a licensed and accredited preschool setting required and a minimum of 3 years supervising others. Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications. Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and supplies used in early childhood and school age programs.  Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively instruct and motivate childcare staff while fostering a positive work environment.

This position requires a physical requirement of lifting 25 pounds and participation in a national fingerprint check.
