Job Details
- MUST be Certified Addiction Peer Support Specialist
- Assist participants in articulating personal goals for recovery through the use of one-on-one and group sessions. During these sessions the PS will support participant in identifying and creating goals and developing recovery plans with the skills, strengths, supports and resources to aid them in achieving those goals
- Assist participants in working with others in determining the steps he/she needs to take in order to achieve their goals and self-directed recovery.
- Assist participant in setting up and sustaining self-help (mutual support) groups, as well as means of locating and joining existing groups.
- Teach problem solving techniques with individuals and groups.
- Facilitate groups
- Support other staff with all groups, including housing and employment services.
- Attend monthly data meetings with the DBHDD and other parties
- Troubleshoot any challenges from visitors, participants, vendors and others
- Collect and analyze data
- Be responsible for designing databases for specific staff/client use and training staff/clients in the use of systems.

Covenant Community, Inc. (CCI) is a life-stabilization residential program for men experiencing homelessness and recovering from alcohol and/or substance abuse. CCI is licensed by the state of Georgia as a Drug Abuse Treatment and Education Facility with approval to operate a residential intensive treatment program for adult men. The purpose of the project is to support community and city efforts in strengthening families and increasing the quality of life for our clients by providing treatment and recovery supports to men who are addicted to substance abuse and to eliminate homelessness by assisting each resident to obtain meaningful, purposeful employment and stable housing. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Recovery Facilities (CARF) and the Georgia Association of Recovery Residences (GARR).
