Atlanta Ballet is seeking a full time Institutional Giving Officer (IGO). This position focuses on raising funds from the foundation, corporate, and government sectors. Successful experience writing grants, completing final reports, and demonstrated success generating corporate sponsorship are required. Past experience working collaboratively with trustees is preferred but not required.
The IGO will be responsible for the following activities:
- Identifying, cultivating, and soliciting funding from the local and national corporate, foundation, and government sectors
- Developing a plan to steward and maintain positive relationships with key program officers
- Establishing a multi-year calendar/timeline for grant and report tracking
- Reporting on progress towards goals
- Creating sponsorship and benefit materials
Requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years experience writing grants
- Bachelor’s degree
- Superior writing and verbal skills
- Excellent command of the AP Style or Chicago Manual of Style
- Strong organization
