Job Details
Title: Office Coordinator
Position type: Salaried, full time, exempt
Salary: $38,000, depending on experience

SUMMARY: The Georgia Innocence Project (GIP) is a non-profit legal organization dedicated to correcting and preventing the wrongful conviction of innocent people in Georgia, and helping exonerees rebuild their lives. Learn more about GIP here. The Office Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:
OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Answer phones, document calls, forward relevant information
- Maintain office appearance and inventory
- Collect and distribute mail; take mail and packages to post office
- Help coordinate internal and external events
- Assist in other areas as requested by supervisor
INTAKE ASSISTANCE
- Process, document and distribute case-related mail
- Respond to initial requests for assistance
- Evaluate completed intake questionnaires and communicate with applicants
- Discuss status of application stage cases with Intake Manager
- Meticulously document all actions in Clio case management system
INTERN/VOLUNTEER COORDINATION
- Maintain and update intern/extern postings and serve as point of contact for schools
- Process student resumes for review; coordinate internship interviews and offers
- Help provide administrative support for interns and volunteers
COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT
- Assist with e-mail updates, newsletters, and small communications projects
- Help implement GIP’s social media strategy and digital content
- Maintain database of press mentions
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree required, and 2+ years similar experience preferred
- Passion for and understanding of GIP’s mission and work
- Tech savvy, able to learn new systems and programs quickly
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter that also asks questions and seeks clarification when needed
- Humility and confidence, no job is too small or too big
- Values giving and receiving feedback and constructive criticism
