The Child and Family Clinician facilitates Child and Family Planning Meetings using wraparound principals that are family-centered, individualized, strengths-based, and outcome-focused. Santa Clara County Connection’s goal is to help children and their families with complex and enduring needs receive intensive treatment in the least restrictive environment that is appropriate. The Clinician provides assessment of the client and family’s needs and leads the team in providing treatment to support the family toward meeting their goals.

Seneca has developed a clinical practice model which integrates ideas and methodologies from three intellectual traditions: attachment theory (to build healthy relationships), learning theory (to replace negative behaviors with positive ones) and systems theory (to address environmental factors).

Seneca Family of Agencies is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities a network of outstanding mental health, community based, and educational services. Celebrating diversity and creating a culture of inclusion increases creativity, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork. Seneca’s agency-wide DEI Advisory Board, Employee Resource Groups, and Language Practice Groups help our employees provide culturally and linguistically relevant services to the families we serve. For more information on our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative, click here!
