Key Purpose of the Role:
The intern is responsible for providing program support to the company and its employees. This position will report to the Intern Manager and work in collaboration to ensure that all program support needs are complete, and deadlines are met as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpreting data and research to create resources for consumption of partners
2. Creating and maintaining survey instruments
3. Provide support across departments and programs
4. Support in developing resources related to training design and implementation
5. Support in writing grant proposals and manuscripts
6. Provide administration/support to the P3 Initiative
7. Other duties as assigned
Experience
Essential
- Current graduate students in public health or related field
- Knowledge or background in sexual and reproductive health and data management/analysis experience
- Organized multitasker
- Works well with minimal supervision while delivering high results
Desirable
- Current first or second year in public health or related field
- High sense of individual accountability
- Ability to set and manage expectations at all levels
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Skills and Abilities
Essential
- Intermediate Microsoft Office – including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable
- Up to date knowledge of software including SPSS, survey monkey &/or SAS
