The International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI) is an initiative of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. The mission of IHTI is to leverage the collective efforts of private, public, educational, faith-based, and civic organizations to accelerate local, national and global movements to end the trafficking of persons. IHTI serves as a convener and conduit for research, advocacy, and resources to reduce sexual and labor exploitation in Metro-Atlanta and beyond.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direction of the Executive Director, The Training Coordinator is responsible for recruiting volunteer trainers; scheduling and conducting trainings; and evaluating the Human Trafficking Training Module as created for Human Traffick Proof The ATL campaign:
- Identifying and connecting with public and private stakeholders regarding trainings for their employees and/or members, along with other partnership opportunities.
- Conducting trainings across Metro Atlanta; along with recruiting, training and supervising our Ambassadors who will provide trainings.
- Keeping accurate records of trainings provided and number of persons trained in each session
- Collecting evaluations from trainees and trainers and providing a month training report
- Innovations and creativity to ensure that the goal of 50k persons trained by 2021 is met.
- Representing IHTI at meetings and events. Requires travel across Metro Atlanta.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an instructor or trainer including curriculum development and evaluation; experience in recruiting and training volunteers; self-starter who is creative and resourceful; previous experience working with a human rights advocacy organization; and a demonstrated commitment to social justice is essential.
