About the Company & Position:

Double the Donation provides online fundraising tools to nonprofits to help organizations maximize their corporate philanthropy programs and matching gift revenue.

We work with nonprofit organizations of all sizes to help their donors determine matching gift eligibility, processes, and submission. We operate out of the Executive Park Office Complex in Atlanta, GA.

We're looking to hire a Nonprofit Data Specialist, who will help us partner with some of the largest nonprofits in the country to manage and grow their matching gift revenue.

Top candidates will have great writing and speaking skills, fundraising experience, and a desire to work closely with donors to support the fundraising process.

What makes you a good fit (Requirements):

  • You are based in Atlanta, GA
  • You have a nonprofit background and/or fundraising experience
  • Phonathon experience preferred
  • You have data entry experience

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with individual donors to determine if their donations are eligible for a match
  • Communicate with individual donors via email and phone to help them through the matching gift process
  • Provide donors with helpful information to make the match process as effortless as possible
  • Assist partner nonprofit staff members via email and phone to help the matching gift process run as smoothly as possible
  • Confirm matching gift requests from donors through corporate programs and work with corporate program vendors as necessary
  • Keep our matching gift information up to date by consistently updating our systems
  • This position works closely with a Matching Gift Specialist, the Matching Gifts Manager and occasionally works with the President of Double the Donation

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 year of experience in fundraising roles or nonprofit experience
  • An ability to think independently and communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated work ethic
  • Incredible organizational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An ability to learn quickly, especially with regard to software management
  • Excellent customer service
  • College degree not needed, ideally a high school diploma or associates degree in a related field.
