Position Description:

Our Audit Team is growing!  We currently have both Full Time an Contract positions available. As a Senior Accountant - Audit you will report to the Audit Partners and  Audit Managers depending on the size and complexity of the audit engagement. The Senior Auditor will be directly responsible for effectively managing audits while acting as a spokesperson for the customer service oriented organization.

As a Senior Auditor, you will:

•Lead client audit and other attest or consulting engagements, which include planning, time control aspects, executing, directing, and completing financial audits

•Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues

•Supervise entry level staff

•Plan and organize supporting audit documentation and schedules

•Serve the clients by becoming involved in Form 990 tax issues as dictated by the situation

•Evaluate internal controls and the effectiveness of operations for clients

•Plan and organize workpapers and schedules

•Finalize engagements by clearing all comments and completing staff performance reviews

•Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years experience in a public accounting firm
  • Financial statement audit experience
  • CPA or working towards obtaining CPA license
  • Experience with planning, performing and supervising an audit from start to finish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Experience:

  • Non-Profit accounting experience
  • Knowledge of audits performed under Office of Management and Budget Uniform Guidance/(OMB) A-133
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
